We got back to the hotel around 1pm and 45 minutes later we met the rest of the group downstairs in the lobby. Then all of us walked the few blocks to the Harbour Centre building where we used our vouchers to visit the
Vancouver Lookout observation deck.

First one, then the other |

Our hotel, the Pan Pacific, is to the right of center with the silver/glass dome. The edge of Stanley Park that we walked to/around sits behind the Chevron station on the water. |

Getting a little sun finally |
After we'd had our fill of the views we took the elevator up to the
Top of Vancouver revolving restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner.

Our merry band of travelers |

Better like this?... |
 |
...or better like this? |
 |
I had a glass of Quail's Gate Pinot Noir, lobster bisque, and a roasted chicken breast with bocconcini cheese, prosciutto ham and sun-dried tomato sauce. It was very good. |
 |
I think we went around twice while we ate. |
 |
For dessert: An orange cappuccino cheesecake with a Spanish coffee - coffee, brandy, Kahlua, whipped cream. |
 |
So good! |
 |
Not many people at 4:30 in the afternoon |

Here you can see the revolving part - the center of the restaurant is stationary while the circular platform the tables sit on moves. |
After the meal we headed back to the hotel at 5pm. We had an early start the next day so we packed and kicked back for the evening. I watched
Only Lovers Left Alive with Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston, then part of
Elf before dropping off.
