Camping At Disney World 2018 - Day 7

This was our last day at Disney World.  We got up, broke camp, cleaned up, and drove to the Reception Outpost to check out.  At checkout we confirmed that we could leave the car in the campground's overflow parking lot, which we did.  Then we caught the bus to Animal Kingdom.

We originally planned to spend a half-day this day at Hollywood Studios to bookend the half-day we had there when we arrived, but the night before we decided to go to Animal Kingdom again instead because we enjoy that park more (particularly the walk-through Maharajah Jungle Trek).  So off we went.

Tree of Life
Dinosaur, my favorite

Primeval Whirl - fun enough, but a slow line.  Not worth much of a wait.
Komodo Dragon
Hey there handsome

After we had our fill of fun we ate at Flame Tree Barbecue which has really good food and a great, expansive outdoor eating area.  I don't remember what I had, but it was probably the 1/2 chicken plate.  Doesn't matter though, because everything is always good there.  We sat on a covered terrace at the edge of the water where I took the following pictures of Expedition Everest (which we somehow managed not to ride this trip).

It's practically a rule that you have to get a picture of the train going up the lift hill

We left with full stomachs and took the bus back to the campgrounds.  It was around 2:30pm when we reached the car and got on the road.  Our trip home was the exact opposite of our trip in, so our stop for the night was 2 1/2 hours away at O'Leno State Park.  We arrived, set up camp, then headed into town for dinner at Great Outdoors Restaurant.  We ate at this same restaurant on the way up, although I failed to mention it apparently.  It was great.

We went back to camp then turned in for the night.  It was around 45° overnight, but not unbearable.  Or rather, we bore it out regardless, because we had to.
