After hiking halfway across the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge to take pictures of Hoover Dam, we walked back down to the car and drove back to Las Vegas (which is only about 40-45 minutes away by the way). As we got into town we stopped at Walmart and picked up a pack of 32 bottled waters and some snacks. Now fully supplied, we drove to the
Bellagio for our overnight stay.

Oh, the show's about to start. You can listen to the music in the room through a dedicated tv station. This one was Celine Dion singing "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic. |

"You're...here...there's nothing I fear...and I know that...my heart will...go on..." |

We got situated in the room, cleaned up, and then headed to the restaurant Fix in the hotel |

Todd's tired but happy |
 |
The 3 times cooked Crispy Fries sounded really good, but we didn't get them. I had an 8oz filet mignon, rare, and Todd had the same cooked medium. Both came topped with a garnish of 3 large, thin, crispy, slightly vinegary-flavored potato chips (weird, but good). I had a glass of Michael Pozzan Annabella Pinot Noir with dinner which was also good. Todd and I split a large loaded baked potato and creamed spinach with Boursin cheese. For dessert I had an Irish coffee that kicked like a mule, and Todd and I split ice cream pops (like cake pops, but with ice cream) in the flavors of milk chocolate snickers, dark chocolate banana, and white chocolate sea salt caramel. |
After dinner we walked over to Caesar's Palace which is where we stayed the last time we were here in 2008. We walked around the Forum Shops, then back along the strip to watch the Bellagio fountains from street level.
